BusGroup sells buses that are used as church buses, child care buses and assisted living buses. Premier Parts General Manager Steve Wickham provides this list, with comments, of the top 10 preventative maintenance items BusGroup customers should keep up with for their vehicles.

  1. Brakes – “If the bus can’t go anywhere, at least it can’t hurt anyone. If it can’t stop, it can really hurt people.”
  2. Tires
  3. Oil Changes – “The customer’s routes can determine how often oil changes are needed.”
  4. Emergency Brake Parking System
  5. Lights - “Brake lights, running lights, etc.”
  6. Interior Safety Systems – “Seatbelts, airbags, etc.”
  7. Suspension System – “Shocks, ball joints, tie-rod ends, etc.”
  8. Air Conditioning System
  9. Heating System
  10. Electrical/Charging System
